Summary of Qualifications:

This pivotal cross functional organizational role will support Life Health Center’s efforts in the areas of research, program evaluation, and innovation. This position will spearhead Life Health Center’s efforts in cultivating quality relationships with our regional academic institutions where our mutual interests align. This position will work with LHC’s leadership team to design and execute systems to review the programming offered in educational school-based wellness centers as well as our integrative health model. This position requires excellent communication and people skills, with the ability to give written and oral reports. The ideal candidate has a collaborative attitude for training others in the organization and a professional demeanor for interacting with internal and external stakeholders and program users.  This person should be very familiar with current data-gathering techniques and technology. Must also be able to analyze and interpret data. Demonstrate a high degree of emotional intelligence as well as the ability to work effectively with diverse community populations with cultural competence, humility and respect.  Knowledge of grant writing, including working as a principal investigator are also required. Adhere to and embrace LHC’s core values.

Education Requirements:

Advanced degree required at a minimum master’s degree. A doctoral degree (Ph.D.) is highly preferred in social work, psychology, health sciences, public administration, epidemiology, etc. Coursework should cover but is not limited to business, evaluation, curriculum development, program design, research, and statistics. Experience with SPSS or other statistical software package is a bonus.

Background & Experience:

  • 8-10 years of clinical psychology experience working with diverse pediatric, adolescent, and adult populations in hospital-based, community, or private practice.
  • 8-10 years of experience in research, program evaluation and curriculum design
  • Will be adept at technical writing but also can share and disseminate research findings with community stakeholders in a manner that is practical as well as useful in improving their lives

Key Responsibilities:

  • Broadly support organizational wide training and development initiatives for LHC stakeholders
  • Lead the development of an evaluation process for LHC’s programs and services
  • Contribute to building internal capacity around curriculum and program design
  • Serve as the single point of contact and liaison for LHC with the academic research community.
  • Conduct psychoeducational testing for student eligibility for disability services
  • Support and act in the capacity of a point of contact for LHC Outpatient Patient Therapy for SBWC population
  • Carry a clinical case load of 3-5 patients.
  • Any and all other duties as assigned
